ACCF for Children's Benefit learned of Connor's serious illness and of his families financial difficulties due to Connor's condition in May of 2009. We plan to support Connor and his parents through this very trying time and we pray that Connor will recover from his illness.

Connor is in Cleveland Children's Hospital in Ohio, below is an e-mail update from mom to John Smith:

Hi John
I did get your message today it was the first I looked at my cell. Connor and I flew angel flights here which Connor loved. The pilot was wonderful. My son drove my car out and we flew him back yesterday. I needed a car since the shuttle doesn't go to the clinic Connor is staying. he was admitted yesterday. He was excited/ I went to see him last night and he was still excited. I can't go see him during the day but when I got there tonight he was exhausted and said it was a very hard day. We knew it was going to be but it doesn't make it any easier. I really think he will be staying at least an extra week because they aren't doing anything with his meds this first week at all so that will have to be addressed. Thanks for your support. I have parents group and I have to read the book they give parents but I will be keeping you updated. I am hoping for all good reports
