Connor Continues Recovering @ Cleveland Children's Hospital 07-26-2009

Connor Menneto is going through his extensive rehabilitation in Cleveland Children's Hospital with the determination of an athlete preparing for a sporting event.

Mom (Rose), reports that Connor has been released from the hospital and will remain in Cleveland as an outpatient continuing his Physical therapy to try to reverse the effects of his debilitating injury.

She says- "The best news is that Connor can kick a ball and has run a few steps, he has even been trying to skateboard. Connor is doing so well with his leg yet his arm is proving to be much harder. He still can not bend the arm himself and his finger movement is slight- They are really concentrating now on his arm. It's great to see such improvement in his leg so we are hopeful about his arm,I hope the news is even better next time."

ACCFCB will continue to monitor Connor's situation and we wish Connor a full and speedy recovery!

Jeffrey Driscoll's Chemo treatments Completed, Off to Fenway Park!

Update July 28, 2009:

Tina Driscoll, Jeffrey's mom told ACCFCB with great excitement that Jeffrey has completed his Chemotherapy treatments as of July 26, 2009 and seems to be feeling well! Jeffrey will have follow up testing in 3 month's to check the status of his bone cancer via a PET scan.

For now, Mom & Jeffrey are excited about their ACCFCB sponsored trip to Fenway Park (Tuesday- July 28, 2009) to see Jeffrey's favorite team play ball- the Boston Red Sox! Through the extraordinary efforts of ACCFCB's own Tammy Criscone, Jeffrey will be on the field during batting practice wearing his Red Sox Jersey carrying a permanent marker for players signatures, all following a tour of Fenway Park!

We Congratulate Jeffrey on his milestone and we wish him well. Mom shares these photos of their Red Sox trip and said that they had a great time:
