Jeffrey Driscoll's Page on ACCFCB for complete details.
Jeffrey Driscoll, age 13 was diagnosed in September of 2008 with Ewing Sarcoma- a rare form of bone cancer. In early 2009 Jeffrey underwent surgery to remove some of his right arm bone, from his shoulder to his elbow which was replaced with cadaver bone.
On December 6, 2009 the cadaver bone in Jeffrey's right arm sadly broke while he was throwing a football. This is an unfortunate incident for Jeffrey who will have to undergo another major surgery after the New Year. Mom tells us that Jeffrey's surgeon is considering different options to make his right arm stronger (including Titanium and new Cadaver bone).
ACCFCB has extended it's resources to assist Jeffrey and his mom Tina through this latest setback. Mom also told us that Jeffrey is Cancer Free- Very positive news there!
ACCFCB honoredJeffrey this past summer at our 5th Annual "Teed Off For Tot's" Golf Classic event with our annual "Courage Award ".
