Aiden Torres, born with Gastroschesis (Intestines outside of his body), has been in Albany Medical Center's Neonatal ICU since his birth on Thanksgiving 2009. AIDEN's mom and dad are very excited to report that AIDEN is FINALLY GOING HOME after several surgeries and many setbacks.
This recording features the first video images of baby Aiden since being admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit @ Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Video features Aiden's parents- Sara & Ed Jr., Lieutenant James Karam of the Rensselaer County Sheriff's Office who is Liasion between Aiden's family and the Albany County Correctional Facility for Children's Benefit (accfcb.org) and one of Aiden's wonderful caregiver's at AMCH NICU, RN Shayna Curley.
ACCFCB would like to take this opportunity to congratulate The Torres and Lai families for Finally being able to bring their little bundle of joy home after a very long and bumpy road. We thank Lieutenant James Karam for his continued effort during this very difficult and delicate situation. We further extend thanks to the miracle workers at AMCH NICU, you are a special group of people!
