Capital Holiday Lights in the park evening to benefit Logan Siciliano

ACCFCB was informed that Capital Holiday Lights in the park will be holding a special “walk only” night on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from 5 pm – 8 pm. The evening will include a modified walk route of the lights as they twinkle off the Lake. There is no admission on this night however, they will be collecting donations to benefit Logan Sciliano's Fund!

Introducing Logan Siciliano, age 10 months

 

Logan Siciliano was born on January 19, 2011 and diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome (MFS)- a genetic disorder of connective tissue which holds all parts of the body together and helps control growth. MFS affects the heart, blood vessels, bones, joints, eyes, lungs and skin. 

Logan was born with leaky heart valves and an enlarged aorta causing congestive heart failure. Logan underwent open heart surgery on September 1, 2011 at Boston Children's Hospital to repair 3 valves and replace part of his stretched aorta. Logan is nearsighted and recently received his first pair of glasses.
