We extend a great big THANK YOU to Tina Marie's dance academy for organizing a 'Reach Out' variety show fundraiser on Friday, January 27, 2012, for the benefit of ACCFCB's seriously ill children. It was truly a wonderful spectacle that we were honored to be witness to. The performers on stage poured their talent, energy, heart and soul out to help our kids. The enthusiasm on display from the organizers, volunteers, audience and the entertainers was extraordinary!

'Mighty Matthew' Blake, 4, Went Peacefully Into The Arms Of The Lord

                  

Matthew Robert Blake, 4, of Queensbury, went peacefully into the arms of the Lord, with his loving family and friends by his side, after a nearly year long courageous battle with Medulloblastoma, on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at Albany Medical Center.

Albany County Correctional Facility for Children's Benefit extends our deepest sympathy to Matthew's family. 

Child Burn Victim & Courage Award Recipient Undergoes Surgery

Daniel Dingley, age 9 underwent surgery today, (1-24-2012) at Boston Shriners Hospital to repair his hand and arm. He has undergone several surgeries since the accident with several more ahead of him. Daniel's Mom reports that he is in pain and uncomfortable but doing well.  

Daniel, of Green Island, New York was trapped in his burning home on April 2, 2010. He was found unconscious and was rescued by the Green Island Fire Department. Daniel was resuscitated and given life saving medical treatments by Empire Ambulance Service.

Daniel was honored with the ACCF for Children's Benefit 'Courage Award' at the 7th annual 'Teed off for Tots' golf event held on Friday, June 24, 2011. Daniel' s award was well deserved!
