Parker Ragone, Age 4 pictured with his furry friend was diagnosed in 2011 with Pre B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Pre B- ALL), an aggressive cancer of the blood. Parker is in remission and doing very well with the maintenance portion of his treatment. He attends physical, speech and occupational therapy. He attends clinic for port access meds and takes daily oral Cheotherapy until 2015. His treatments cause side effects including fatigue and neuropathy (damage to the peripheral nerves, especially those that branch out through the arms, legs, fingers and toes). When Parker is feeling well enough he attends pre-school. Parker understands his condition referring to it as "Kemia" and knows that sometimes he can't do things that other children his age can do.
