 Zackary VanAllen age 14 from wheelchair to drivers seat to start Mark Flach Jr.'s Stock Car, Zack's favorite Lebanon Valley Driver. We sincerely thank Mark Flach Jr. for taking the time and effort to bring his race car to our event and helping make a sick young boy feel a whole lot better for a day!!

We are very pleased to announce that we raised $18,315 at our 8th annual 'Teed off for Tots' golf event held on Friday, June 29, 2012!! We sincerly thank all of our sponsors, donors, golfers, supporters, volunteers, seriously ill children- their friends and all those in attendance, presenters and our Board of Directors for making this another very successful and fun event!!!

Seriously Ill Child to Receive ‘Courage Award’ and Meet
Favorite Race Car Driver

Who: Zackary VanAllen, age 14 of Hudson, New York.

Illness: Born with SpinaBifida; a birth defect of the spinal cord resulting in paralysis confining him to a wheelchair also causing other medical complications.

Courage Award: Zackary will receive a “Courage Award” at our 8th annual 'Teed Off for Tots' Golf Event for consistently displaying outstanding courage while coping with a lifelong serious illness. His determination to live life to the fullest and his positive attitude is truly an inspiration! Zackary will be surprised when he meets his favorite race car driver and hear his engine ROAR!

Race Car Driver: At age 25, Mark Flach Jr. is recognized as one of the up-and-coming drivers on the DIRT Modified circuit, which stretches from Canada to Delaware and out to Western Pennsylvania/Ohio. Flach Racing competes at Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, N.Y., on Saturday nights from April through September.

Where: The Fairways of Halfmoon Golf Course, Mechanicville, NY. Weather Permitted- Zackary’s presentation will be outside behind banquet hall, near Mark Flach’s Race Car.

Zackary VanAllen age 13, Hudson, New York

Zackary, age 13 was born with SpinaBifida- a birth defect of the spinal cord resulting in paralysis, bowel & bladder problems and other medical complications. Zackary is confined to a wheelchair, he suffers with infections of the kidney and bladder. He uses a catheter to help him go to the bathroom. 

Zackary loves to watch Nascar, play video games and go fishing. His favorite moment was when he got to meet his favorite singer, Toby Keith and have his picture taken with him. We welcome Zack to ACCFCB's family!
